Service Commission of Madhya Pradesh State is established in the year
1956 on November 01 under section 118(3). It is an autonomous state
government organization which formed with the basic purpose of acquiring
highly skilled people to civil service posts within state. It also
conducts various competitive examinations, interviews and direct
selection to appoint eligible candidates in various posts of civil
services. The main aim of commission is to help local Govt. by
consulting and providing appointment rules, promotions, transfers, etc.
This commission also provides examination syllabus, patterns, admit
cards, answer keys and exam schedule to contestants which helps them in

MPPSC recruitment 2016 for fill the 251 Assistant : Consequent on the reorganization of States on 1st November 1956, eight
districts of Madhya Pradesh have been transferred to the Bombay State
and the remaining fourteen districts of the Madhya Pradesh along with
Madhya Bharat, Bhopal and Vindhya Pradesh were merged to form the new
Madhya Pradesh. As there was no Public Service Commission for the States
of Bhopal and Vindhya Pradesh, these being Part “C” States, and the
recruitment for these States was being done by the Union Public Service
Commission, the records of cases dealt with by the Union Public Service
Commission for these two States were not available to the new
Commission.
